Mitigating Racial Bias: Pioneering New Standards in Assessments and Case Management

Vant4ge began working with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to build a new assessment tool and the result was an RNA tool that remains to be the most predictively accurate tool on the market, while also mitigating racial and gender bias. In doing so, a new standard was set. But the assessment tool was only the beginning. Vant4ge used the data from PA DOC and the new version of the RNA to implement the most technologically advanced case management and program matching systems that employ automated decision-support more than any other jurisdiction in the country.
